Hoastly was built on a simple idea: product reviews should tell you what you actually need to know, not what a brand wants you to hear.
Every product we cover goes through hands-on testing by our editorial team. We buy products ourselves when we can, borrow them when we cannot, and always disclose how we got access. We never accept payment for positive reviews.
How We Test
We evaluate products across five dimensions:
- Performance - Does it do what it claims?
- Build Quality - Will it last?
- Ease of Use - Can a normal person figure it out?
- Value - Is the price fair for what you get?
- Support - What happens when something goes wrong?
Our Team
Hoastly is run by a small team of product testers, writers, and researchers distributed across the US. We come from backgrounds in consumer tech, home goods, and outdoor gear. What we share is an allergy to marketing fluff.
How We Make Money
We earn commissions when you click our links and buy products. This costs you nothing extra. We also display ads on some pages. We never let compensation influence our ratings or recommendations.
